Is it possible to add an option to enable or disable the auto-lock on the ipad. Right now it overrides the screen on and I understand why it was designed that way… Im trying to get mine to “wake” when a motion detector sees motion, but ofcourse it would have to “auto-lock” while in guided access mode to “sleep”.

Hey there! Let me make sure I understand correctly. Are you looking for an option, in the app, to not keep the screen on / prevent sleep? (It by default will keep the screen on / prevent sleep, and this is not currently configurable.)
Yes… That’s exactly what I’m looking for…maybe as a display option check box so it doesnt affect everybody…
I kow it sounds counter intuitive to have the display sleep… and Im not sure that it will be popular enough for you to dedicate time toward… but thought it was worth asking…
As it is now, the ipad display is always on 24/7… I currently have a motion detector setup near the taps that will wake the tablet for 5 or so minutes (via home assistant automation) and would display my taplist when it detects motion… Then the ipad needs to be able to time out and sleep again.
I’m guessing this is a no-go at this point? Let me know… Thanks
