The Taplist app has always been designed to keep your display online, even if you momentarily lose your network connection. However, if you started the app from a fresh power-on, or rebooted your device, the app would not show anything until after establishing a connection.
Starting today, in most of these situations, if the connection is down the app will still show the most recent data while it tries to update.
I hope this means you see the Taplist.io splash screen even less
